Why Work With Me (and Not Just Any Hypnotist?)

Clinical hypnotherapy isn’t just about putting you into trance — it’s about using that altered state strategically and skillfully to help you create deep, lasting change. This is where I specialize.

Unlike lay hypnotists who have only received hypnosis training, I’m trained in integrative therapy. That means I bring together the art of hypnosis with the science of therapy.

You won’t get a cookie-cutter script or one-size-fits-all treatment. You’ll get a highly tailored process based on who you are, how anxiety shows up for you, and what you actually need to move forward.

If you’ve tried other approaches and nothing has quite clicked — this may feel refreshingly different.

What’s the Difference? Clinical Hypnotherapist vs. Lay Hypnotist

Why working with a licensed therapist matters.

Are We the Right Fit?

You may be a great fit to work with me if:

  • You’re seeking help for anxiety-related challenges (such as GAD, panic attacks, social anxiety, phobias, OCD)

  • You’re ready to begin therapy now — not just browsing, but prepared to commit

  • You’re able to attend weekly sessions at a recurring time

  • You’re open to clinical hypnotherapy and a creative, mind-body approach

  • You want lasting change — not just symptom relief, but true freedom

If this sounds like you, we may be a strong match.

What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a powerful form of psychotherapy provided by licensed therapists to treat mental health challenges such as anxiety. It is defined as a focused state of attention and sometimes called trance. Hypnotherapy helps you in two main ways:

  1. Exit negative, problem-based trances (such as worry or overthinking)
  2. Enter positive, resourceful trances where you can access your inner strengths and problem-solving capacities.

Working together, we’ll use integrative methods to go beyond talk — helping you:

  • Break patterns of overthinking, fear, or avoidance
  • Create meaningful shifts in how you think, feel, and act
  • Get results that actually stick because they’re experiential, not just conceptual

How long are sessions?

Sessions are weekly, 60 minutes, and conducted via secure telehealth. You’ll receive personalized, respectful care designed for real progress.

Next Step:

If this feels like a match — or even just something worth exploring — you’re invited to take the next step. You’ll be asked a few short questions to make sure we’re a good fit. I’ll personally follow up with you with next steps within 1-2 business days. If you’re ready, committed, and seeking something deeper — welcome.

Not Quite a Fit, Or Not Ready?

No problem. If you’re not quite ready for weekly therapy, or if pricing is a significant barrier, you may wish to explore other hypnosis practitioners through Psychology Today or low-cost psychotherapy though Open Path. My advice: don’t look for other hypnosis practitioners on Google as they are generally unlicensed.
